The Nike Kyrie 5 Chinese New Year is a special edition basketball shoe that is part of the signature line of sneakers designed for and endorsed by NBA player Kyrie Irving. It was released in celebration of the Chinese New Year. The shoe’s upper features a distinctive and eye-catching design that incorporates vibrant red and multicolor elements, including intricate patterns and graphics inspired by Chinese culture. This Kyrie 5 iteration is made from mesh material and incorporates Flywire technology which provides support, locking down the upper to the sole unit. This shoe also has a rubber outsole with a unique traction pattern that takes inspiration from Kyrie’s Hamsa-like hand tattoo.
