The Nike Air Max 98 Solar Red is a shoe inspired by an updated take on the Air Max 97 sneaker. This model has a base of Reflect Silver gray mesh, forming the ankle collar, lacing area, and toe box, with vertical black lines crossing it. The toe box also features a black tab with a Solar Red swoosh. A wavy white leather overlay sits underneath with a small Solar Red swoosh on the lateral side, as well as Air branding on the heel’s lateral side. Black leather underlays sit on top of the white midsole, and the tongue has Air Max branding, with some fabric eyelets in Solar Red. The shoe features a full-length Air Max unit in Solar Red. Its standout Solar Red accents add color to the otherwise monochromatic design. This women’s exclusive was released on May 24, 2018, for $160.
