This AWOK (Anna Wintour Okay-ed) Jordan was approved by the Vogue Editor-in-Chief herself. Featuring a sail leather upper, this pair ditches the laces for a metallic zip-up instead. It includes an 'Edited by Vogue' Nike Air tag and the AWOK signature on the sole and tongue. The sneakers come in a premium box with two suede dust bags. These women's-exclusive sneakers dropped in July 2018 at a retail price of $220. Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour applies her design acumen to the women’s Air Jordan 1 Retro High Zip ‘Sail’. The acronym – short for ‘Anna Wintour OK’ – refers to the editor’s hand-scrawled approval, and is reprinted on the shoe’s translucent outsole. The premium leather construction on the upper is finished in Sail, accented by a red Nike/Vogue label tag appended to the high-top’s zippered closure.
