The adidas Ultra Boost Parley Tech Ink is a women's shoe designed in collaboration with Parley for the Ocean, showcasing the brands’ commitment to reducing ocean waste. Constructed with an upper made of recycled plastic from the ocean, this version features a breathable design in a Tech Ink color palette with black and blue patterns. The iconic adidas three stripes appear in black across each side of the shoe as supportive overlays. The tongue bears the Parley brand name, while the adidas logo is on the front of the shoe on a white outsole. The black heel counter features Ultra Boost branding, and it's built on a white molded sole with a Boost midsole for enhanced cushioning and energy return. Our favorite thing about this shoe is its subtle color scheme. It was released on June 27, 2018, for $180. Additionally, the adidas Parley x Women’s UltraBoost 'Deep Ocean Blue', released as part of the 'Run for the Oceans' campaign in 2018, utilizes plastic bottles from coastal communities and beaches for its construction. With a near-black colorway inspired by the Mariana Trench, 85% of the Primeknit upper is made from recycled Parley Ocean Plastic, equivalent to eleven plastic bottles.
