The shoe itself is modeled after the adidas adiStar that Gonz wore during his 1998 performance art piece at Germany’s Staedtisches Museum in 1998. The upper is constructed from a blend of white leather and Off-White suede, with contrasting black suede three-stripes on the lateral quarter panel.
