Commemorating the 20th Anniversary of their debut album In Search Of, iconic hip-hop group N.E.R.D. - made up of Pharrell Williams, Chad Hugo, and Shay Haley - added their touch to one of Pharrell's most popular signature models. The adidas NMD Hu NERD Chalk White features an off-white Primeknit upper with N.E.R.D. logos prominently embroidered. On the heel tab, a '20' graphic is printed to honor the 20 years that have passed since the jumpstart of their career as a group. The adidas NMD Hu NERD Chalk White released in August of 2021 and retailed for $220. Crafted in partnership with the prolific musician and designer, this exclusive colorway of the Pharrell x N.E.R.D. x adidas NMD celebrates the 20th anniversary of N.E.R.D.’s debut album, ‘In Search Of …’ Wraparound rope laces secure an ivory Primeknit upper with tonal embroidered lettering atop the vamp: ‘N.E.R.D.’ spelled out on the right shoe, and Chinese characters that translate to ‘inner peace’ on the left. Mismatched pastel hues distinguish the collar lining, rubber outsole and leather heel tab, featuring N.E.R.D.’s brain logo on the left shoe and ‘20’ stamped on the right. Lightweight cushioning is provided by a full-length Boost midsole with cream-colored NMD plugs.
