The Clarks Originals Wallabee Bape Light Blue Combi is part of a collaboration between Clarks and A Bathing Ape (BAPE), a Japanese streetwear label known for its use of camouflage print and its signature ape motif. This moccasin-like shoe takes one of Clark’s most recognizable shoes, the Wallabee, and applies a contrasting camouflage pattern across the canvas upper. This pattern can be seen on many BAPE T-shirts and hats. If you look carefully at the camo pattern, you can see an ape head near the heel. A panel of light blue suede across the toe area is embossed with ‘MANHUNT,’ a throwback to BAPE’s moccasin-like shoe from the 1990s.
