The Nike Air Force 1 was the Swoosh brand's first basketball sneaker to include the responsive feel of Air-Sole cushioning. The classic high-top sneaker was designed by Bruce Kilgore and unveiled in 1982. In 2006, Nike released this Mid-height iteration, which features a striking all-black upper with contrasting Neutral Grey topstitching that highlights its design lines. Below, Air-Sole cushioning and a concentric circle tread pattern are preserved.
