Having debuted in 2012 as a player exclusive for LeBron James, the Nike LeBron 9 Low LeBronold Palmer received its first-ever re-issue in 2022. This sneaker nods to LeBron's love for Arnold Palmers, a drink consisting of one part lemonade and one part iced tea made famous by PGA pro-golfer Arnold Palmer. This tropic-themed design features a refreshing pale yellow base with green palm tree illustrations scattered throughout the upper. Bright Mango Swooshes, sock-liners, and full-length Air Max units add to the island feel. Released in May of 2022, it retailed for $200. The Nike LeBron 9 Low ‘LeBronold Palmer’ brings back a 2012 colorway that was never released to the public. Featuring a tropical theme reflecting LeBron James’ time with the Miami Heat, the sneaker is named after the 1/2 iced tea, 1/2 lemonade concoction known as the Arnold Palmer. A leafy print in New Green enlivens the yellow engineered mesh upper, fortified with tonal no-sew skins and equipped with a low-cut padded collar. Branding elements include a Bright Mango Swoosh and a metallic gold ‘LJ’ heel badge. Lightweight cushioning arrives via a visible Max Air unit that runs the length of the rubber outsole.
