Designed by Bruce Kilgore in 1982, the Nike Air Force 1 Low 'Parachute Beige' sneaker was the first basketball shoe to utilize Nike Air cushioning. This iteration incorporates the same hoops-inspired performance features of the original, but updates the low-top silhouette with a neutral tonal colorway and mixed material construction. It features a synthetic upper overlaid with suede panels along the eyestay, mudguard and heel counter. A contrasting rubber outsole with Nike Air in the midsole grounds the design.
