The adidas NMD_R1 V2 ‘Core Black White’ pairs an elemental two-tone color scheme with a sustainable build. The black knit upper is made with 50% recycled polyester and 50% Parley Ocean Plastic, composed of upcycled plastic waste gathered from beaches and coastal communities. Contrasting white accents include a webbing pull tab that wraps around the heel and connects to a molded midsole plug — a carryover from the original NMD release from 2015. A full-length Boost midsole provides responsive cushioning.
