After a long 8 years, Jordan Brand re-released the Air Jordan Retro 3 'True Blue' in 2009. The release was somewhat confusing, especially since it never happened in the US. Regionalized releases are rare with Jordan retros, so when images of the 'White/True Blue' Jordan 3 Retro surfaced online in summer 2009, many assumed it would arrive in the US soon. Unfortunately, that did not happen. The True Blue Jordan 3 became available at many international retailers, including major Canadian stores like Foot Locker. Although the 2009 version featured the Jordan Jumpman logo on the heel instead of the OG Nike Air as originally intended, sneakerheads eagerly awaited its release. The anticipation led to the Air Jordan Retro 3 'True Blue' selling out within weeks.
