In this collaboration between adidas and James Edward Harden of the 76ers, the adidas Harden Vol. 2 Maroon presents a mid-top sneaker with an appealing maroon and black colorway. A Primeknit construction features on the upper of the adidas Harden Vol. 2, whose breathable mesh material has a woven appearance. On the lateral mudguard, the three-stripe branding of adidas adds to the aesthetics while reinforcing the maroon textile. A ForgeFibre finish features on the quarter panels, which transition from a dark maroon to a black overlay on the heel. This sneaker's grey outsole has the Voronoi pattern, while the midsole features the adidas Boost cushioning. We like how adidas sparingly applied logos on this shoe. Besides the three stripes on the mudguard, the Harden logo, displayed in grey, appears on the tongue. The heel overlay also has the full three stripes and adidas name branding in a red shade. The adidas Harden Vol. 2 Maroon was released on February 15th, 2018 at a $160 retail price. Made to match his Houston Rockets jersey, the Harden Vol. 2 ‘Ignite’ brings together complementary colors of Bold Red and Deep Burgundy to highlight an all-new ForgeFiber upper. Other technical features include a customizable lacing system, full-length Boost cushioning, and Voronoi-pattern outsole.
