The adidas ZX 500 RM Grey Four Scarlet incorporates a classic running shoe silhouette designed by Jacques Chassaing in 1984, updated to be more lightweight and responsive. It features a white textile upper with a looser weave at the toe box for improved ventilation and comfort. Overlaid with grey suede at the mudguard, eye stays, and printed-on three stripes, it also includes a white Boost midsole that disperses impact and returns energy with each step. The black rubber outsole offers traction and includes vents for Boost expansion. Accents of bright red at the heel tab and branded tongue tag provide an eye-catching contrast. Released on July 7th, 2018, this model retails for $140. The ZX 500 Boost revives a vintage runner from the 80s, using 21st-century technology.
