The Jordan 2 Retro Black Cement was created in honor of the Air Jordan 3’s 35th anniversary. This model features an almost all-black body paired with an off-white midsole and a gray and red sole. The Retro Air Jordan 2 in Black Cement draws inspiration from the original 1987 Air Jordan design. The upper is crafted from Jet Black leather, accented with Cement Gray on the midfoot, tongue, and heel. The laces match the Jet Black body. Designed for rapid movement on the basketball court, it includes AIR pods for cushioning and a round toebox with perforations for breathability. Notable bright red accents appear on the tongue, back, and sole, adding a vibrant touch. Released on September 23rd, 2023, the model initially retailed for $175. The Air Jordan 2 Retro ‘Black Cement’ takes inspiration from the iconic AJ3 colorway, featuring a black leather upper with a tonal midfoot overlay, complete with a distinctive lizard texture and grey piping. The high-top design rests on an off-white polyurethane midsole with encapsulated Air-sole cushioning and a durable two-tone rubber outsole.
