In May 2019, a Berlin-based label and ASICS joined forces on the Gel Kayano 5 OG sneaker with a design influenced by robotics, prosthetics, and orthopedics. This Seashell version carries a mesh inner sleeve layered in an eclectic mix of natural and synthetic materials. Translucent TPU is used for a flag label on the heel and signature logo stripes. A stable, energized ride is sustained by Gel midsole cushioning and a rubber outsole below.
