Nike welcomes a third installment of their ongoing Stranger Things collaboration with the Nike Stranger Things Tailwind 'Upside Down', now available. This collaboration made its debut in the summer of 2019 with the release of Cortez, Tailwind, and Blazer Mid models sporting Hawkins High and Independence Day colorways. Although the silhouettes are recurring, this installment differs from the first two by unveiling a new interactive design. This Tailwind features a sail woven-like textured upper that reveals hidden Upside Down layer underneath when removed. Printed insoles with graphics of plans and sketches, red branding on the tongue labels and embroidered heel, and white rubber waffle outsoles complete the design. The packaging includes two sets of laces and a set of collaborative pins. These sneakers released in August of 2019 and retailed for $120. These shoes are flammable. The material used on the upper can be burned to reveal the under layer, but there is no uniformity or guarantee regarding results. We will not accept shoes that show signs of burn marks or use. Allowing fans enough time to binge watch and catch up on the story, the reference-laden Stranger Things x Air Tailwind 79 QS 'Upside Down' sneaker released in August 2019. This edition arrives with a Sail-toned outer layer that can be burned away to reveal a hidden design underneath. The insoles are detailed with the words 'Suzie -- do you copy?' and sketches of the season's centerpiece machinery. When stripped back, the secret Russian code deciphered during the show is printed below in alternating Cyrillic and English lettering.
