New Balance connected once again with NY-based label Aime Leon Dore to release the New Balance 827 Abzorb Aime Leon Dore Red, now available on StockX. This is the first time ALD has used this silhouette in collaboration. This New Balance 827 is composed of a white mesh upper with red and navy suede overlays and multi-color detailing. A white Abzorb midsole, multi-color outsole, and ALD branding on the heel completes the design. These sneakers released in March of 2020 and retailed for $150. Launching as part of a capsule collection with the NYC-based streetwear brand, the Aimé Leon Dore x 827 ‘Red’ delivers a colorful take on the retro New Balance runner from 1999. The upper is constructed from breathable white mesh with red synthetic suede overlays, a green ‘N’ side logo and two-tone nylon webbing featuring ‘ALD’ branding at the heel. It all rides on a lightweight ABZORB midsole fitted with a midfoot TPU stability web.
