Back in 2006, Nike dropped its legendary Powerwall collection featuring 56 pairs of limited edition Air Maxes. Of the fresh Air Max 1 colorways included, the Lemonade colorway has evolved into a cult classic, inspiring recent popular releases such as the Air Max 1 Limeade and Strawberry Lemonade. After 14 years, Nike quenched the Powerwall thirst of Air Max fans across the globe and refreshed the original Nike Air Max 1 Lemonade. The upper features "Air" printed in bubble graphics that wrap around the side panels and heel of the shoe, complemented by an entirely yellow upper that would match your coldest glass of lemonade. The sock liner and insole showcases both sliced and whole lemons throughout, while green laces and a lemon graphic Nike tag on the tongue complete this fresh-squeezed icon. The Nike Air Max 1 Lemonade released in November of 2020 for $140. The 2020 reissue of the Nike Air Max 1 ‘Lemonade’ showcases a unique colorway of the retro silhouette that originally released in 2006 as part of the Powerwall collection. A subtle yellow hue is used throughout the upper, constructed from breathable mesh with a leather mudguard. A reflective coating distinguishes the stitched overlays at the heel and quarter panel, adorned with an all-over print of bubbly ‘Air’ branding. Lemon graphics on the custom sockliner amplify the citrus theme.
