Levi’s® Vintage Clothing 1954 501 Indigo Rigid - Blue. Originally released as the 501® Z, these jeans represent Levi's® expansion into new territory. To familiarize the East Coast with this American classic, Levi's® took the original 501® Shrink-to-Fit™ Jean and replaced the classic button fly with a zipper, naming it the 501® Z. Today, Levi’s® recreated the latter in classic selvedge denim for these 1954 501® Jeans to help tell the story of the 501® and its evolution through the decades. Crafted from 100% cotton, these jeans are designed to shrink to fit, featuring a slightly tapered leg, button closure, zip-fly, 5-pocket construction, exposed rivets, and a leather brand patch. Made in Japan.
